I would love to write something positive as I was able to play with a friend who lives in Anthem at these courts once. However, I have a hard time agreeing with the "community rules". Me and my family live just outside of Anthem in New River. There are no parks or activity centers in New River just a lot of dirt roads and hiking trails. We go to Anthem for everything, so we are regularly supporting the community. However, amenities like the Pickleball Courts are for 'Anthem Residents' only. They don't allow pay to play or offer memberships which we would be more than willing to do or pay for in order to play. But the answer from the 'Anthem Council' (Jennifer Hamilton) is just flat out No. I understand having certain community things not open to the public but this isn't in a neighborhood or gated community. We live right there maybe 10 minutes down the windy road, we support every business in Anthem, we have even gone to the high school's football games and dance recitals...make it make sense.

Anthem pickleball courts are more like a private club than a park. You can't just go and play. It's not really open to the public. The courts are all reserved on most nights, so you can not just show up. There's no paddle lineup. The courts close at 10:00 but the bathrooms close at 8:00 so people do their business in the bushes. Even when the bathrooms are open, they're a football field away.

All fenced in, great courts spaced nicely. The only bad thing is no restrooms.

I love the Anthem Pickleball Courts. It is not just the courts that are nice with each court separately fenced in. The people that play pickleball in Anthem are also very nice. When I started playing pickleball people were kind and willing to play with me while I learned the rules and skills of the game. It is a great place for beginners and advanced players to play pickleball.

Great place for pickle ball. 10 courts, but they're booked almost every night, so make sure you reserve. Bathrooms are next to the tennis courts. You can join the Anthem Pickle Ball Club.
