Amerige Field

This park has 4 pickleball courts with nets, but the ground is slanted. Seems like they were added on as an afterthought. Free street parking available next to the courts. Also has 5 tennis courts that look nice.

Old tennis courts with inclined and cracked surface. Always crowded. People even play pickleball and badminton on these courts.

Everything one might want from a local park. Amerige is a classic, well used by the community, and well maintained by the city. Playground is modest, but modern, well kempt, and versatile enough to engage a wide age range of kids. Great vibes in the summer as families take their kids to blow off steam. Tennis courts and (newly installed) pickleball courts are always well utilized, and seem to be in pretty good shape. Happy community vibes here as well. Basketball court has pickup games being played everytime I'm there, seems great. Kids soccer in a few fields, baseball on the diamond, good big fields to run around when they're not in use. Hilltop has picnic benches overlooking the park under gorgeous shady oaks. Amerige is not flashy, and it's probably not a destination playground, but as a community park in Malden it is well loved by the neighbors, and is overall a charmer.

Beautiful surroundings. Five tennis courts, basketball court, baseball diamond and children's swings and slides. And lovely landscaped hill with huge trees on top. As a bonus, the ducklings from neighbouring Fellsmere Park are roaming around.

The playground is great for my two year old and the basketball court is one of the few with single rims. Slight pitch on the court which is annoying but everything else is great. Has soccer and tennis courts but the baseball field is not maintained
