A wonder place, dedicated to one of the area’s great athletes and tennis players. I admire the memorial gardens and the condition of the courts is like a racquet club but free and open to the public.

This tennis court, which is in my neighborhood, is absolutely gorgeous. It rarely is super busy. The court is designed for players who are serious about their game and not for folks who want to roller blade in the courts, etc. They were designed at a professional level. I do not play myself but walk by them almost every day. I would imagine that a true lover of this sport would be in a state of bliss playing here.

The Alex Rovello tennis courts are an excellent place to play tennis. They are very well kept and there is basically no damage to the ground, nets, or any of the surrounding areas. There are two courts available to play on. There is also a wall made of wood to practice on alone. This court is right next to Caesar Chavez, it is easy to find and is a part of a beautiful park. I will be returning to these courts!

Alex’s parents maintain the courts and from what I understand, sometimes will watch people play tennis. Such a sad story, but the courts themselves are great! It does get a bit windy though.

As a tennis addict, this public court can’t get any better. My favorite feature is the backboard/wall for TENNIS practice
